Getting Started
When you first sign up for your own Skoach page, Skoach will walk you through a short "orientation" to quickly get you on your way!
-
Customized Time-Management Support
Whether you're a college student, a working parent, or a retired librarian, Skoach will adapt to your life patterns to offer customized time-management support.
-
Weekly Template
The Weekly Template will allow you to structure your life in broad time-categories, like Work, Study, Chores, Exercise, Leisure, etc ...
This underlying structure is always in the background, coaching you to be realistic about time commitments, keeping you focused on what's essential, and guiding the Auto Plan.
-
Home Screen
This is the Home Screen, where you'll find your task list and schedule. The Commitment Bar (top) monitors your workload, so you always know when you're taking on too much.
-
Task Creation
This is one of the really neat things about Skoach: Although task-entry is super fast, your tasks are still perfectly organized by category and date-range.
Because tasks are always entered within a category and within a date-range, you're doing more than adding to a task list. You're planning when that task will be done: Today, Tomorrow, This Week.... And that makes all the difference!
-
Scheduling Tasks
Drag any item from your task list onto your schedule to instantly set date and time.
-
Auto Plan
The Auto Plan feature allows you to schedule all your tasks at the touch of a button.
Skoach considers deadlines, existing commitments, relative workload, task duration, and available time to create a balanced schedule. You can further "tweak" the suggested schedule by shifting individual tasks as needed.
-
Re-Scheduling
Reschedule overdue tasks easily by simply dragging the item to a Range Tab: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week...
-
Reminders
Task and appointment reminders can be delivered to you via email or text-message (or both!).
-
Notes & Checklist
The Checklist can be used to create a meeting agenda, a multi-task project, or even a shopping list. In the Notes section, you can jot down an address, a telephone number or any other task-specific info.
